ALEXANDRA OVERY
Alexandra (she/her) is a YA and middle grade fantasy author. She grew up in London and now lives in Los Angeles. She loves writing in all formats, from novels to screenplays to graphic novels, always centering on fierce women and morally grey characters, often with a bit of magic and murder.
Eryka Parker
Eryka Parker (she/her) is a book coach, writing instructor, and developmental editor at Legacy Book Coaching & Consulting. Her passion lies in diversifying the publishing landscape by amplifying underrepresented voices, showcasing diverse perspectives, and promoting authentic storytelling. Eryka serves on the Editorial Advisory Committee for IBPA Independent magazine, is a programming committee member of the Author Nation Las Vegas conference, contributes to Indie Author Magazine, and reviews books for the African American Literary Book Club. She is also an award-winning contemporary romance author, writing under the name Zariah L. Banks. Beauty Beheld was a featured title in the Indie Author Project Selection collection and named as one of the best indie books in the Indie Author Book Program on Biblioboard.
NICOLE PORTER
Nicole (she/her) has been an educator for 25 years, currently serving as a K-7 Dean of Students. Her career began in the classroom as a history teacher. A former local union president, she has insights into the nuances of educational governance that underscores her unwavering dedication to the advancement of her profession. Nicole is eager to share her wealth of knowledge, skills, and time-honored tricks garnered over her years in education. When she’s not wrangling kids, Nicole enjoys watching her sons play hockey, making Peaky Blinders references, and eating warm butter cake at Aqua Pazzo.
